Workshops
Have
you ever wanted to learn how to take your own Tintypes? Are you
interested in having a better understanding of how period photography
works? VPS is offering a hands-on, immersive workshop as an intruduction
to wetplate collodion photography.
Participants will learn the history
and methods of large format cameras, and participate in creating their
own tintypes and completing every step of the process, from the
chemistry to the lighting to composition.
We will work on still life and
portraits in the studio, and Each participant can expect to shoot 3-5
plates, and pose for 1 taken by the instructor. Class sizes limited.
